went to my old high school today, it was really nice to be back after all the crap that I went through there and since.
my old form teacher is now married and pregnant which is not something i thought i’d ever see. i’m so glad i went in now before she went on maternity leave as she was a big part of my school career and i wanted to let her know what i was doing next. you also know when someone cared when they ask you how your home life is now.
it also seems half the school board are leaving which is quite sad - we had a lovely long chat with the assistant head who has been there for 40 years and is retiring on friday. she’s as lovely as ever an has not changed.
everyone else was so lovely - obviously asking where we were going next and stuff so i let michael go first with his achievement of getting into Oxford then amelia with getting into man met and then me who’s going back to college but most of them took it well.
